Who are you and what is newdawndomains.com?
New Dawn Domains is a project dedicated to allowing people to buy domains on new TLDs which have been created with the decentralized blockchain Handshake project. It is an improved version of DNS built for the new internet that allowed for many more kinds of TLDs beyond the ICANN-controlled ones like .com.
What are Handshake domains and how do I resolve them in my browser?
Handshake is a DNS built on a blockchain. It is outside of the control of ICANN. You can resolve handshake domains with HDNS, NextDNS or other options. You can read more about Handshake here.
What is an “EPP-based registrar”?
EPP is the standard protocol used for the provisioning and management of Internet domain names. It is used to manage most of the domains on the internet including all .com domains, .org domains, .io domains, etc… We are one of the first registrars to use EPP to manage and sell domains on handshake TLDs!
What TLDs are available?
Currently you can register .kiribati, .tuvalu, .pitcairn, .lightworker, .kundaliniyoga, .ecocommunity, .retreatcenter, .conspiracytheory, .wiccan, .tonga, .cannabissativa, .cohousing, .buddhist, .intentionalcommunity, .fringe and we plan to add others in the near future.
Is the TLD secure?
The TLDs are secured on the Handshake blockchain. We have partnered with namebase.io to provide custody and security of ownership keys.
We are a registrar – can we sell domains on handshake TLDs?

Is my info safe?
Yes. We will never share your email address. We use Stripe and cryptocurrency for payments, so we do not store your payment information – it actually never even touches our servers.
How do I manage the domains I have bought from newdawndomains.com?
You can manage your domains by clicking on the Domains tab and then selecting the domain you would like to manage. From this page you can update the namesevers for the domain, or get the transfer auth code for the domain (if you want to transfer the domain to another person or registrar).
What are your terms of service? What is the newdawndomains.com privacy policy?

I don’t have or want to pay by credit card, is there another option?
Yes, you can credit your account with Bitcoin, Monero, Bitcoin Cash, Nexus, and other cryptocurrencies.
Can I get a refund on my account credit?
Refunds on account credit will be subject to a 10% transaction fee. There may also be a holding period depending on the way you credited your account.
Can I use multi-factor authentication to add security to my gateway.io account?
Yes, there is an option to turn Authy on for your account by editing your account details (click on your username in the menu bar after you log in).
I don’t think Authy worked because I wasn’t asked for it when logging in.
If you enter the correct code from a computer, for convenience we store a cookie there so you don’t have to enter the code each time you log in. If you’d rather enter the code each time, simply make sure to log out of newdawndomains.com and the cookie will be deleted.
